Sometimes You Just Gotta Howl At The Moon. That’s pretty much what this album is about. I moved from New Orleans to Nashville in 2003 (on Mardi Gras day‚—which accounts for the cover headshot and color scheme of this album!). Like every writer that ever goes there, I struggled with everything including large doses of self-doubt, and self-destruction. The songs on this album chronicle a lot of that. They are not fancy—simple guitar/vocal demos for the most part. I wrote most of them by myself. There’s no one else to blame.

Bud Tower Clearwater, Florida

Outside the Pensacola Civic Center, Bud Tower stared in amazement at two Lynyrd Skynyrd 18-wheel equipment trucks emblazoned with "God and Guns." Tower co-wrote the song "God & Guns" which Skynyrd chose as the title track of their 2009 album. Once again Tower was reminded that, in music, it all begins with a song!
